Rapid Test Kit for Thiamphenicol & Florfenicol
1. Principle
This kit is based on competitive indirect colloid gold immunochromatography technology, in which thiamphenicol and
florfenicol in sample competes for the colloid gold labeled antibody with thiamphenicol and florfenicol coupling antigen
captured on test line. The test result can be watched by naked eye.
2. Application
This kit is developed for rapid test of thiamphenicol and florfenicol contamination in fresh milk sample,milk
pasteurization,Ultra High temperature(UHT)milk and milk powder(1:9 diluted with water).

5. Assay Steps
(1) Read the kit insert carefully before assay. Bring all reagents and strips to room temperature before use.
(2) The milk sample must be fully liquid without precipitation or agglomerate.
(3) Note:milk powder samples must diluted with purified water dilution rate:1:9 ,the dilution sample must be the uniform
liquid,no caking, sour or sediment.
(4) Take the strips and wells from the bottle according to your requirement, seal the rest.
(5) Preheat the metal incubator to 35ºC.
(6) Place the mircrowells in the metal incubator, Take 200ul of the test samples into the wells, then repeatedly absorb and
drop for 5 times to mix the sample with the reagent in the wells completely. The mixture should be pink, and then start
the timer.
(7) Incubate for 5min in the metal incubator (45ºC); insert the test strips into the wells with the "Sample pad" end fully
dipped in to the mixture.
(8) Incubate for 5min in the metal incubator(45ºC) again. Take out the strip; judge the result according to Part 6.
6. Result interpretation
Negative (-): Test Line and Control Line are same or deeper red: indicating
that thiamphenicol and florfenicol in sample is lower than the LOD of the
kit.
Positive (+): No color or lighter color than control line shows in Test line,
indicating that the thiamphenicol and florfenicol in sample is higher than
the LOD of the kit.
Invalid: No color shows in Control Line, indicating the operation is
incorrect or the test kit is out of date. In this case, please read the
instruction again carefully, and do the assay again with new strips.
7. NoticeKwinbon Biotech
(1) The strip is can be used for only once at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight when do the assay.
(2) Do not touch the white membrane in the center of strip.
8. Specificity
This kit shows negative with 500μg/L level of sulfamethazine, gentamycin, tetracyclines, lincomycin.
9. Storage and Valid date
The kit can be stored at 2-8ºC in dark cool place for 12 months.
