MilkGuard Rapid Test Kit for SABT+TEQL+SNKG+SMCF
1. Principle
This kit is based on competitive indirect colloid gold immunochromatography technology, in which drug residues in milk samples combines with the specific receptors or antibodies labeled with colloidal gold during flowing and inhibit its binding to ligands on NC membrane test line(T-line) or antigen-BSA conjugate.
Regardless of whether the milk samples contain drug residues or not, the control line(C-line) will be shown color that the tests are valid.
The test strip can be simultaneously matched with the colloidal gold analyzer to analyze the test results, extract the detection data and get the final detection result after data analysis.
2. Application
This kit is developed for rapid test of quinolones, sulfonamides, aminoglycosides, macrolides, lincoamines, florfenicol, monensin, colistin, bacitracin, trimethoprim.

4. Kit components

1. Instrument needed but not provided

Metal incubator(suggested product: Kwinbon Mini-T4) and Colloidal gold analyzer(Selected)
6. Assay operations

1. Read the instructions carefully before experiment. Bring the test kit and samples to room temperature. Milk samples should be fully liquid without any agglomeration or deposition.
2. Take test cards needed from the kit package, take out required wells, seal the aluminum foil in time and make proper marks. Please use these test cards within 1h.. The rest cards can be stored for future use.

Notice: one test cards corresponds to four gold colloidal microwells, please react one group per time and it can't be splitted. Reaction labeled as SABT, TEQL, SNKG, SMCF test cards, corresponds gold colloidal microwells labeled 1, 2, 3, 4, it is unmisplacable.

1. Preheat the metal incubator to 45ºC.
2. Place the mircrowells in the metal incubator, take 200ml of the test samples into the wells, then repeatedly absorb and drop for 5 times to mix the sample with the reagent in the wells completely. The mixture should be pink, and then start the timer.
3. Incubate for 3min in the metal incubator (45ºC); take the test card cap, and insert the test card strips into the wells with the "Absorbent pad" end fully dipped in to the mixture.

(6)  Incubate for 6min in the metal incubator(45ºC) again. Take out the test card; judge the result according to Part 7. Notice: read the results within two minutes after reaction, otherwise, the results will be invalid.
Instrument interpretation:
Put on the test cards cap, insert the test card into colloidal gold analyzer, press TEST button, the colloidal gold analyzer will automatically read the results.
Notice: please read the test results within two minutes after the reaction, otherwise the analysis results will be invalid.
7 Results judgement

1. Manual judgement:

1. First check whether control line(C-line) show color, if not, means the test card is invalid.
2. If control line(C-line) show color, judge the results as following:

1. Instrument interpretation:

7.2.1 Open colloidal gold analyzer, press Test button, select corresponding test project;
7.2.2 Connect the scanner, reader the QR code and check the batch number shown in the colloidal analyzer is consistent with the batch number on the package for assay;
7.2.3 Hand hold end out, insert the test card into colloidal gold analyzer holder, press test button, then read the test results;
7.2.4 If the screen of colloidal gold analyzer shows negative result, indicating the corresponding residue in sample is less than LOD of the kit.
If the screen of colloidal gold analyzer shows positive, indicating the corresponding residue in sample is the same with the LOD of the kit or more than LOD of the kit.
8.Notice

1. 1. Please do the assay following the instruction, do not touch the membrane of the strip.
   2. Please seal the luminum foil bag after taking out required test cards. Please don't open new test cards or colloidal gold unless it is used up.
   3. Don't mix different batches of test cards and colloidal gold microwells.
   4. The test card is used for only once; please do not use it repeatedly.
   5. This kit is only for screening test, positive result should be further confirmed with other method.

9.Specificity
1. Sulfonamides, Abendazole, Bacitracin and Trimethoprim test cards, has no cross reaction with the other three cards at the test concentration 500μg/L;
2. Tylosin, Erythromycin, Quinolones, Lincomycin test card, has no cross reaction with the other three cards at the test concentration 500μg/L;
3. Spectinomycin, Neomycin, Kanamycin, Gentamycin test card, has no cross reaction with the other three cards at the test concentration 500μg/L;
4. Spiramycin, Monensin, Colistin, Florfenicol test card, has no cross reaction with the other three cards at the test concentration 500μg/L.
10.Storage and valid date
The kit can be stored at 2-8ºC in dark cool place for 12 months.        Do not freeze.
Lot Number and date of production are printed on the package.
