Cyhalothrin is a representative variety of pyrethroid insecticides. It is the pair of isomers with the highest insecticidal activity among the 16 stereoisomers. It has the characteristics of broad insecticidal spectrum, high efficacy, safety, long duration of effect, and resistance to rain erosion.
1. Test Principle
This ELISA kit is designed to detect Cyhalothrin based on direct-competitive enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter wells are coated with capture BSA-linked antigen. Cyhalothrin in sample competes with the antigen coated on the microtiter plate for the conjugate. After the addition of enzyme conjugate, chromogenic substrate is used and the signal is measured by spectrophotometer. The absorption is inversely proportional to the Cyhalothrin concentration in the sample.
2. Applications
This kit can be used for the quantitative and qualitative analysis of Cyhalothrin in tobacco.
