1. Background
Tilmicosin is mainly used to against the bacterial and mycoplasma infection in livestock and poultry. It is also used to the additive of the feed of pig to promote the weight of the pig and the feed conversion rate.
This kit is a new product for drug residue detection based on ELISA technology, which can considerably minimize operation errors and work intensity compared with instrumental analysis. It only needs 45min.
2. Test Principle
This kit is based on indirect-competitive ELISA technology. The microtiter wells are coated with coupling antigen. Tilmicosin residue in the sample competes with the antigen coated on the microtiter plate for the antibody. After the addition of enzyme labeled anti-antibody, TMB substrate is used to show the color. Absorbance of the sample is negatively related to tilmicosin residue in it, after comparing with the Standard Curve, multiplied by the dilution factor, tilmicosin residue quantity in the sample can be calculated.
3. Applications
This kit can be used in quantitative and qualitative analysis of tilmicosin residue in animal tissue, liver, honey, egg, milk (raw milk, UHT pure milk).
