Symphytroph, also known as pymphothion, is a non-systemic organophosphorus insecticide that is particularly effective against dipteran pests. 1. Test Principle
This ELISA kit is designed to detect Coumafos based on direct-competitive enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter wells are coated with capture BSA-linked antigen. Coumafos in sample competes with the antigen coated on the microtiter plate for the conjugate. After the addition of enzyme conjugate, chromogenic substrate is used and the signal is measured by spectrophotometer. The absorption is inversely proportional to the Coumphos concentration in the sample.
